Festival Runner for Mac and Windows

The desktop app: everything in the web version, plus tools for the rest of your run. Press kits, laurel posts, a laurel maker, deliverables, a submission planner and reminders.

Opening it the first time

The beta isn't signed with Apple or Microsoft yet, so your computer asks you to confirm once.

1. Mac: open the .dmg and drag Festival Runner into Applications, then open it. When macOS stops it, either:
   • right-click the app, choose Open, and click Open again, or
   • open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. This also works if macOS says the app "is damaged" (it isn't).
   Comfortable with Terminal? xattr -cr "/Applications/Festival Runner.app" does the same thing. You don't need it.
2. Windows: run the installer. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.

New versions: on a Mac the app shows a bar with a download link; on Windows they install on the next restart. Your projects stay as they are.
